I may have invited you personally or you found me on the Facebook Alliance Workers Network or you stumbled in on a search.  Wherever or however, I’m glad you found me!

I’ve been writing all my life since my third-grade teacher, Mrs. Hellman, assigned the class to write an essay on “What you like or don’t like about school”.  Evidently, she did not appreciate my “humorous” use of her name.  She ordered me to take the essay home for my mother to read, sign, and return.  Fortunately, my mild-mannered mother understood my penchant for attention as her last-born son of three boys.  She didn’t scold me or report me to Dad, so I kept on writing.  I was also an avid reader just like her.

Little did I know then that God in his mercy would call me to pastoral ministry that required a lot of reading, a lot of writing, a lot of speaking, and a lot of listening.
